You can have the best digital camera in the world with absolutely amazing features, such as a great zoom, lots of megapixels, etc., but if your picture are not exposed correctly then you will feel constantly frustrated with your photos rather than enjoying them! When you start taking pictures with this camera in a wide range of lighting conditions you will notice that it has an amazing ability to get excellent exposures in very difficult lighting conditions.
The fifth reason why this is an excellent camera to buy is that it has a very fast and accurate autofocus.
Unlike many cameras where there is a lag time from when you focus on an object, push the shutter and the shutter engages there is practically no lag time at all with this camera. This is an extremely important feature to me, and is rarely discussed with many people that review cameras. Personally, I rather have a camera with less megapixels, than a camera that has a very slow response time. Many times when I use these slower cameras when I am trying to photograph my children for example they are already gone and doing something else.
The Only negative: the autofocus is loud.
If you are outside I never really notice the noise, but when I am taking pictures indoors and it’s really quite the autofocus function does seem a little louder than other cameras. It’s not a big deal for me, but I thought you should know.
